Competitions
When 4 or more clan members are present, a
competition may be held.
They are as follows:
FFA: There will be a free for all with all scores starting at 0, high score gets upped in rank
CTF: Capture the flag with all scores starting at 0. High score for an individual gets upped in rank. In CTF you get points by defending a flag, returing your flag, stealing the other team's flag, and returing the other teams' flag
DUELS: A duel competition will go as follows. Winner of the last duel competition, or highest ranking FYMer will be the judge. Everyone must duel everyone else. Depending on how many people are participating, the person or people with the least wins will be eliminated before entering the next round. Here's how this works:
with 8 players the rounds should look like this:
Round 1: 8 players, 28 duels (4 people with
lowest scores eliminated)
Round 2: 4 players, 6 duels (2 people with lowest scores elimated)
Round 3: 2 players in best 2 out of 3
with 5 players the rounds would be:
Round 1: 5 players, 10 duels (1 person with
lowest score eliminated)
Round 2: 4 players, 6 duels (2 people with lowest scores elimated)
Round 3: 2 players in best 2 out of 3
The idea is that round 2 should have about 4 or 5 players as a semi-finals round. The judge will have to decide how many people need to be eliminated in round 1.
example:
If there are 10 people playing, 5 should be
left in round 2.
If there are 7 people playing, 4 should be left in round 2.
The reason for this is so the judge can determine how long the competition should be. This is the judge's perrogative. If the competion starts at 1 AM the judge may feel it's neccesary to make it a short one, and therfore eliminate more people after round 1.
If the low scores are tied at the end of rounds
1 or 2, the judge arranges a tie breaker duel.
Round 3 must always be 2 only players.
